Castelsardo is proud to be home to many quality restaurants, which serve numerous fish and seafood dishes.
 
Specialities that come recommended are the rich and tasty fish soup, red mullet ‘alla marinara’, sea bass cooked in Vernaccia wine, roast squid, crayfish and, above all, lobster ‘alla Castellanese’, which is considered one of the very best on the Mediterranean. Of course, one can also taste traditional Sardinian recipes.
